Charlotte Ballet’s programming engages college students, lecturers and the neighborhood in a spread of artistic actions to make dance. We are saddened by this news, and our hearts exit to his family and family members. We are forever grateful to Dr. Bob Hasl for his support, and know his reminiscence lives on by way of the humanities, which he adored and liked to share with others.
On Friday in a special, one-hour, reside manufacturing adapted by award-winning and world-renowned choreographer Margo Sappington. It’s a role that feels pure for her to step into, she says, joining a group of individuals that work with passion behind the scenes to create lasting relationships with the worldwide neighborhood of alumni, parents and pals. A highly regarded cultural asset renown for creative high quality, Sacramento Ballet attracts approximately 80,000 folks to performances annually. It is the only local arts group sustaining a residency of artists, enabling it to ship world class programming for its neighborhood. In 2017, she joined UC Berkeley’s Theater, Dance and Performance Studies as an assistant director of communications and improvement, the place she raised public and campus consciousness of the department’s applications. So, she began working as a growth coordinator for Diablo Ballet — learning to use for grants, work with donors and manage fundraising events.
